  • Vegan friendly!!! We explained that we don't eat fish, meat and not even fish sauce. They made us the dish "Udon with radish and soy sauce". You can have it hot or cold. You can add soy sauce from the table. Additionally, the tempura batter is made without eggs in this place, so it's also vegan. They have for example mushrooms, vegetables or potato tempura. We liked the food and the friendly and helpful staff.

  • Before coming to Kagawa, this is my go-to udon shop as it has lots of good stuff. But today after comparing with local udon shops, I must say it is comparable not as good and more pricey too. Nonetheless I come for dinner, ordering Saru Udon (さるうどん) which is a plain udon with a dipping broth. The broth is a little thicker than the soup type but they are same I believe, just stronger. I put on all the condiments, the lovely spring onion, the crunchy fried fritters, a spoonful of grated ginger and a splash of graded sesame seed. It’s one udon at a time, dip and slurp! Yummy! The sound of slurping is like the mouth is so moist and anything could be sucked in and right down into the stomach, it’s that smooth!! I really enjoy udon, I don’t lie, you give me udon, I would say Itadakimasu (いただきます)!! Gimme! ¥590 takes all!
